Most samples (99%+) are processed by the Lilium lab the same day, with results before 9 p.m.
On rare occasions (less than 1% of the time) it may take up to 3 business days to receive the results.
No special preparation is required for these lab tests, except it is recommended to be well hydrated before any blood test.
Please do not eat for at least 4 hours, and do not take any nutritional supplements for at least 24 hours, before the Nutrition panel test.
When arriving at a Lilium clinic, one of our nurses will do a consultation as part of prescribing the lab test under our doctor. The lab test will require a small blood draw at our clinic that our nurses will perform. Our state-of-the-art laboratory requires only small amounts of blood for analysis, and you will discover that at Lilium we collect less blood than what you have experienced elsewhere.
When interpreting test results, it is important to remember that all diagnostic tests have window periods – the time when the biomarker being tested for can be detected on a lab test. If a test is outside the window period (i.e. taken too soon or too late), the results will not be accurate and a diagnosis may be missed.
You will be e-mailed your test results once they are ready. The password for opening the file will be texted to you.
If any of the results are abnormal (coloured in red), you will receive further details and instructions from us, or a call from one of our doctors or nurses to discuss the results. In some cases you may need follow-up testing, or receive a prescription or a referral to a specialist.
